Custom Building Products CustomBlend LHT Large and Heavy Tile Mortar offers a non-sag and non-slump solution for most interior and exterior wall and floor applications.  This polymer modified mortar can be applied 3/4' thick on horizontal surfaces and can be used for large format porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone tile.  Meets ANSI A118.4HT and A118.11.

Suitable Substrates:

• Concrete, mortar beds, masonry, Portland cement plaster
• Cement backerboards
• Liquid-applied and fabric waterproofing membranes
• Crack isolation sheet membranes
• Uncoupling mats
• Substrates treated with MBP Multi-Surface Bonding Primer
• Exterior grade plywood (interior residential and light commercial dry areas)
  
• Gypsum wallboard (interior dry areas)

Suitable Tile Types:

• Vitreous, semi-vitreous or non-vitreous tile: ceramic, quarry, cement body tile, pavers
• Impervious porcelain
• Brick and stone veneer
• Cement-based precast terrazzo
• Gauged or un-gauged natural stone tile

Coverage:

• Longest side of tile 8' to 15' - use 1/4'x1/4'x1/4' Square-notch trowel:  75-86 sq. ft. per 44 lb bag
• Longest side of tile 8' to 15' - use 1/4'x3/8'x1/4' Square-notch trowel:  53-62 sq. ft. per 44 lb bag
• Longest side of tile more than 15' - use 1/2'x1/2'x1/2' Square-notch trowel:  37-43 sq. ft. per 44 lb bag
• Longest side of tile more than 15' - use 3/4'x9/16'x3/8' U-notch trowel:  30-33 sq. ft. per 44 lb bag
