This string has been around, and it's that longevity that should convince you of it's appeal. It's a straight-up synthetic gut that offers a nice balance of playability (control versus power) and comfort (soft pocketable feel). It has great value and great performance, especially when paired with a tougher polyester string in a hybrid string combination for a little more bite on the ball.
