XL Brands DriSeal ONYX Ultimate Moisture-Vapor-Barrier Coating and Primer can be used on both concrete and wood substrates and is suitable for a wide selection of flooring types. It is a durable, water-based system that primes, reduces substrate moisture vapor emissions, and also works as a barrier for concrete alkalinity. DriSeal ONYX is pre-mixed, and is formulated in black to offer a great visual indication of coverage. 

Features:

• Quick drying, 3-4 hours
• Roller application
• No mixing required
• Low odor, low VOC
• Contains antimicrobial protection to resist mold and mildew
• Can be used with sheet vinyl, LVT, VCT, carpet, and tile

Coverage using a 3/8' nap roller:

• One coat (4.1 mil) - approx. 200 sf per gallon
• As a primer or over high-porosity concrete (diluted 1:1 with water) - approx. 500-800 sf per gallon
• Two coats (total 8.2 mil) - approx. 100 sf per gallon

Traffic:  

• Light foot traffic can be allowed when the surface is tack free to the touch
• Installation of flooring material may usually begin 2 hours after the second coat
• Times may vary due to substrate conditions, temperature, and humidity

Shelf life: 18 months from date of manufacture in unopened, original, properly stored container.
